I did it - took the leap and felted my first item. I used a basic
felted slipper pattern and added some trim (which I've been doing to
all kinds of things lately). That's the good news. The bad news is
that I bought one skein of the wool planning to just make a small hat,
so now I have to get another skein before I can finished the pair of
slippers.

Very nice, this slipper looks very cosy, but a bit lonely without it's
mate....LOL

Better get the other skein fasts before they are sold out. Otherwise you
have to hop along on one slipper....

Thanks, Els! I'm going to call the shop as soon as it opens this
morning and have the wool sent.

Or she uses a different yarn and makes a younger sibling rather than a twin
for the first one. Who said they have to match? he he

Jan, that would be a typical Els solution....One time when Otto had ripped
the lining of his jacket of his suit, I made a bright red heart and neatly
covered the rip. Otto is very colour blind so He woul not notice the
bright red, but he was not at all pleased with the heart. He did get lots
of comment at work though....(Grinning)
