Wow, I remember THAT query being posted over 10 years ago!
There was quite a discussion about it, the lady who wanted it did locate it and
made lingerie and halloween costumes from it.
A *later* discussion, about 5 years ago went on about the lighted knitting
needles and lighted crochet hooks, which are now widely available, but five
years ago they weren't wildly popular yet.
Shortly afte ^that^ discussion, I invented glow in the dark knitting needles and
crochet hooks....

Bernat makes one, but the glow is limited to about 20
minutes. in my opinion the white (it comes in pastel pink,
blue, green & yellow as well) glows the best. it's a little
splitty to work with & the balls are rather small, 40g.
there is also NightLights yarn
