I am knitted something in cotton, and a friend came in ,, she fell in
love with my work, and said she is going to knit a short sleeved
summery shirt , that she could use in winter as vest over longer
shirts. As she is not sensitive to cold as i am , this is good for
her .
Just as she left i had a call from another friend who asked if i have
a Nice pattern for cotton knitting something for herself ,,,,Seems
cottons are loved and coming more and more into fashin and use , shops
have this WONDERFUL cottons [ machine washable] in all colors ,,,

I love cotton to--to wear. And I have knit with it. But overall, I
find it to be unforgiving and rough under my hands. I enjoy the give-
and-take of wool and guess I'm learning to fall in love with it after
a lifetime of acrylics. Cotton next. Wool first! LOL.

I love cotton. I live in South Carolina and even our winters are humid.
Cotton is a good, all-round fiber down here. :-)
