My husband needs DMC pearle cotton #8, in a larger ammount than on the
10g balls he can get at the local store.
Does it come on a cone?
Katheryne
who is clueless unless it involves leather working or hand spinning
yarn.

Katheryne,
I went to my favorite supply store
(http://www.herrschners.com/default.aspx) and searched for perle cotton
#8 on cones. The following came up
(http://www.herrschners.com/search.aspx?q=pearl+cotton+on+cone&tab=)
None of these are #8, so I investigated further and found that
Herrschner's doesn't carry #8 in cones. I then Googled to see what I'd
find, and all the sites listed just those small balls like he's using.
I've given the above links in case he might be able to substitute with
another size if he hasn't already started his project.
Eve :o)
