Silver Wedding Anniversary is coming up quickly, and I'm open to suggestions as
to how to
spend it, where to go, what to do, etc.
My sister seems to think the kids should give us a party. First of all, it's
none of my
sisters business, secondly, it's NOT the girls's responsibility to give us a
party,
thirdly, we don't WANT a party at ALL, so....
We've discussed renewing our vows, just the two of us, no guests at all, but
WHERE? No,
we do NOT want to go back to Wisconsin where we were married, so that's OUT,
totally.
East Tennessee, maybe?? Like Gatlinburg area? Anybody been there?
Help,
Noreen

My sister ALSO seems to think the girls or Don should give me a party for my
birthday,
and again, it's none of her business, it's not the kids responsibility to give
parties, I
don't even WANT one, so.... again, my dilemna:
what to DO that would be special for the big day?
I'm 'thinking' a spa-day.... but wonder if that's over-indulgent?
Help,
Noreen .

I wouldn't think a cruise would be too overindulgent, but that's just my
humble opinion.

A quiet weekend for the two of you with a renewal of vows sounds lovely.
Apparently, it's working out so far.... :oD

Congratulations!

Mystified One. . .

A cruise would be wonderful, but far out of budget, so the quiet weekend will
suffice...

Thanks!!!

How about a cruise on the Mississippi or Ohio river on one of those
steamboats? can't remember
the name of the boat off hand? Just the two of you..
