Theoretically your 2/60 silk comes in at 30 meters per gram. How this
compares to the Cebelia I can only guess as Lacis doesn't show Cebelia
#40 available for sale and thus provides no yardage. An educated guess
suggests a 50g ball of Cebelia #40 will contain ~725yd, or 700m, which
may give 14m/g.
A direct comparison suggests that your silk is about half the size of
the Cebelia #40 BUT cotton is denser than silk, has to be spun more
tightly to hold together, and thus weighs more on a per-linear unit
measurement.
Best answer: Swatch, see how you like your blocked silk swatch.
